The Work Sharp Benchtop Whetstone is a dual-grit, angle-controlled whetstone for sharpening knives and tools with fine edges. 1000 and 6000 grit aluminum oxide whetstones create incredibly sharp edges. Use 1000 grit to sharpen and restore the edge, then 6000 grit to create a very clean edge and finish. The sharpening base provides a stable platform and improved water control for less mess and faster cleanup. Anti-slip feet ensure a safe and stable sharpening process. Corner guides provide precision to preserve the edge, which speeds up and simplifies sharpening. Sharpening guides are interchangeable at 15° or 17° and are optional, additional 20° and 25° sharpening guides are sold separately. Sharpening kitchen knives of all types, can also be used for pocket and travel knives.
